Dilong paradoxus

The newest tyrannosaur on mylist is Dilong, a small early cretaceous tyrannosauroid from the yixian formation of china. The animal is thought to have been feathered. The holotype is from a juvenile animal and it is thought that the whole animal was around two metres long while the found animal was around 1,6 metres long. Dilong means emperor dragon and is among thefirst tyrannosaurs. It already shows adaptions that later tyrannosaurs had,like strong jaws and thicker teeth than previous carnivores like dinosaurs from the allosauroid family.
