Coelurus agilis by Teratophoneus Coelurus agilis by Teratophoneus
Coelurus is a well known genus of theropod dinosaur from north america. And recent studies have concluded that the small coeluridae family which consists of 2 members, coelurus itself and tanycolagreus, is actually part of the big tyrannosauroid superfamily, which means I will include this 2 critters too in my tyrannosauroid project. Coelurus is probabl what people think of a small agile theropod dinosaur , because it looks quite classic, : 2 long hind legs, 2 shorter forelimbs with 3 fingers and a light swift body, it is THE classic small carnivore.

What about Ornitholestes? I read in a HUGE book by a Paleontologist that Ornitholestes is an early Tyrannosaur.
