Description

Barinasuchus , the biggest of all sebecids, the so called land crocodiles. Sebecids were small to midsize animals,but Barinasuchus was at least 5-6 metres long with some undescribed remains possibly indicating a length of up to 9 metres. Barinasuchus lived in Venezuela and was the top predator of its time and area.
