Star of Africa

This is the Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-2,flown by the german fighter Ace Hans-Joachim Marseille in 1942. It was his last machine before he died in 1942. Because of his success in North Africa,Marseille ws called "der stern von Afrika",meaning the star of africa..The Me 109 was the most produced and most succesful fighter plaen ever, with over33000 machines of all versions built. It shot more planes down than any other plane in history.
The Hakenkreuz on the rudder is just for historical correctness and doesnt has any political meaning.
