Metriacanthosaurus was a big carnivore from the jurassic England. It was lon thougt to belong to Megalosaurs like all carnivourus dinosaurs that were found during the 19th century. It is believed to grow up to 8 metres in lengh and 2 to 3 tons in weight. it has a short sail on its back.

Unfortunately Metriacanthosaurus was a sinraptorid and they renamed Sinraptoridae Metriacanthosauridae.
